The Great and Terrible Arctic Blast of 2008-- 2.0

'Sup snow ptarmigans? It appears that the powers that be have cancelled school once again. I wish this storm had come in the week after Winter Break but oh well. Here is the only thing I know for certain. THE INTERNAL ASSESSMENT IS STILL DUE THIS FRIDAY. NO EXCEPTIONS. This is also true for Mr. Unis' class as well. Please put the word out. Turnitin.com isn't working right now and won't be until after the break. You will not be able to upload your IA to the website until this problem is resolved. Sorry. The fate of the DBQ is in up in the air. You will still take the DBQ, the only question is when. If you have your notebook and readings with you at home you should be able to prepare for the DBQ.

The forecast isn't looking good for Wed or Thursday at this point. Some forecasts are calling for up to 6 inches of snow in the metro area. Ugh. The weekend doesn't look much better. We are all going to have to pay the piper for these snow days. It could be extra time tacked on to class or extra days. Please keep that in mind.

I will be in touch. Carlisle out.

These snow days are actually really bad for me, because I'm supposed to leave for basic training on June 10th. So any more of these snow days and I'll have a problem :/

You are so popular Carlisle! Thank you for the update. That is good to know. I love the comic, it is hilarious! So do we just not turn it in to turnitin.com and just email it to you?

That is correct. However, don't email me anything until Friday. People are still sending me rough drafts.

One, n-tohn please stop frightening me. And two, there is suppossed to be 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow. The snow up here on Bull Mountain hasn't even started to melt,(even with all this sunshine) although the roads have become more icy.

This is confusing to me. The Internal Assessment is still due friday but turnitin.com isn't working? How will we get our IA's to you??? These no school days are amazing by the way. I get to work on my IA everyday, and I DONT HAVE TO GO TO WORK!!!!

Hayleigh,

Turnitin.com doesn't grade your IA, I do. If there's no school on Friday you are expected to email me your IA.
