SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR NEXT WEEK
After conferencing with Mr. Unis, we have decided to use Monday, January 5, as a wrap up day for Unit 5 on Disunion. That means I will lecture on the last McPherson reading and a textbook reading (pp. 390-94) on the 1860 presidential election. The DBQ will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. We will start Unit 6 on Thursday.
**PLEASE PASS THE WORD TO STUDENTS IN MR. UNIS' CLASS.**
See you all Monday.

Ugh. Why can't they extend this semester a week and add the week in the summer instead of just adding a week onto the end? It makes no sense.
Hope you had a good break,
Allie
12:12 PM
I agree with you allie. We lost the time to first semester not second so we should just push everything back a week I think!

Whilst driving home from shopping, my parents and I saw approximately 20 snowflakes in the air. They weren't sticking, but I'm predicting a 4-week winter break. Since we live in Tigard and all. And we never see snow.
Oh wait...
4:05 PM
Allie and Rebekah,
Your suggestion may happen. There's been no word to teachers about the make up days as of yet. Break was good, however, it was too long and too cold. Ready to wrap up the fall semester.
4:14 PM
Also, behold the awesome Palin cookie. If you click on my name you see the cookie, and the photo of Palin that inspired it. Thanks again, other Lauren!

Carlisle. Every force in the universe is preventing me from finishing my high school education and graduating. On one hand, I'm not looking forward to turning in a bunch of homework for Caro, but on the other hand, I miss you yelling "Come on, Keith!" and punching a flat surface.
8:28 PM
Bernath,
"Who's a good boy, Keith's a good boy?"
8:50 PM
