I have to admit, the whole comparing WEB and Booker T thing was one my least favorite parts of the class (though it doesn't even come close to Canadian Railroads, that was the worst thing we had to learn about IMHO)

You're on notice English! Then I guess I didn't do a good enough job making those two men relevant figures in history. They were incredibly important men in regards to race relations in America at the turn of the century. One man seemed to be for accomodation and other was more immediate equality.

Carlisle,
did you hear about the 13 year old dad? He looks like he's 8, but apparently he's 13 and he and his 15 year old girfriend just had a baby girl. When a reporter asked "What will you do financially?" he responded with "What's 'financially'?"
He did admit that he's too young to be a father though...
I thought it was pretty amazing.

I understood their importance alright, I just never really got into it as much as other parts of the class.
