About Me

I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

FINALLY THERE IS JUSTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was ticked off all day knowing that Victoria Price ruined these boys' lives but now I can finally wake up every morning in peace knowing that they finally got the pardon they deserved :)

It's a good thing that they finally got the pardon that they deserved. However, it doesn't change what happened to them and how badly each trial affected their lives.

70 years late, but at least the Scottsboro boys got justice after their lives were ruined because someone used their skin color to take advantage of them.

Finally, the Scottsboro trial was a tragedy. It ruined the lives of those young men.
