About Me
- Name: Mr. Carlisle
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

Sir M. Carlisle, I was wondering...do you ever get tired of people referring to you as "Carlizzle"? I often see people call you that on the blog and I was curious as to whether or not it bothers you.

I don't mind. It stems from me telling students that telemarketers use to murder my last name and try to pronounce it phonetically. Carlisle=Car-lizlee

HA nice. I thought that it came from "izzle", as in the suffix often used by gangsters used to cut off a word when one's brain cannot process words with greater than three syllables.

Max... My name is where the word pwnage stemmed from. I was pwning some person and then someone said the word "pwn". I am pwn. We are one in the same. OSAA is mean. Every week there are people with body paint and nothing is said to them. When we try it, they get mad at us. They might be racist because Neil and Amalan did it too... What's your take on this Dr. Carlizzle?

Oh and according to Wikipedia:

The little kid is adorable! But what's with that tooth of his. I found myself just staring at it for the longest time. Weird. On a different note, I loved the discussion we had on Friday, Carlisle! Too bad it was so short.
