- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

Would a good interpretation of this comic be that the US has a bunch of problems, including we outsource jobs too much, we don't check imported goods for dangerous materials and that we are also a major source of global warming?

And would a good interpretation of this one be that the Democrats criticized Bush for the Surge in Iraq, yet now that it seems to be clear that its working, they are giving up on the criticizing it?
And this one be trying to say that Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez tried to eliminate Democracy late last month by trying to change the Venezuelan constitution, yet the people of Venezuela voted down the changes and is now pretty embarrassed ?
