Slushy Roads Update
Just got back from Tigard and the roads that I saw looked pretty good. The forecast is too uncertain right now so who knows what's going to happen tomorrow. At this point I'm willing to bet we have school but with a two hour delay. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS A CERTAINTY.
IF we have school tomorrow I will lecture lecture on the last two readings for Unit 5.
PLEASE BRING THE COMPLETE, FINAL DRAFTS OF YOUR IAs IF YOU ARE FINISHED AND WE HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW. This will save you and I a lot of stress.
Please don't email me any more rough drafts. I have a huge batch of emails to sift through after I eat and rest my brain in front of the magic box. I will start responding to emails around 8:00.

This week is so messed up. It doesn't even feel like a break because I'm never sure when we will have school. Plus I have had to do a lot of work.

I don't know at this point. If we stick to the schedule for this week it will be a B day.

I know exactly how you feel. It has not been very relaxing for me either. I don't know about Bull Mtn. Hillsboro, LO, West-Linn, and Sherwood are all closed for tomorrow. We usually do what Beaverton does. I'm pretty confident the district will make the call by 5:30AM.

Can anyone get through to the District site? I've been trying for at least 3 hours now.
And I can't see anything on the news sites about it. Just tuned to KGW, waiting for it to get to the T's.

I just manged to get through, they don't say anything about a closure there. Though when I tried to refresh it died again.
KGW says closed for TTSD. All 4 news sites (KATU, KOIN, KGW, KPTV) don't say anything about it, though.
It's possible they're still mixing today's closures with tomorrow's. But that stuff is supposed to clear out at 8PM.

KGW says closed, but doesn't specify the day.
KPTV isn't running closures.
All 4 sites still say nothing.
District site still down/marginally functional, last time I got through it didn't say anything.

Weather.com's forecast for Tigard tonight is cloudy with snow. Low near 30°F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches..
Forecast for tomorrow is periods of snow. Cold. Temps nearly steady around 30°F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 80%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.
My guess is that District is waiting to see if it either:
A) Goes below freezing, if does, roads will ice and they'll either call off school (if it looks like it won't melt) or delay it 2-hours (if it does look like it will melt).
B) Snows. If it snows, they'll most likely cancel school.
