END OF SNOW DAZE

It's time to get back it. IB students, we will wrap up the unit by Wednesday. Test is Thursday.

Honors students, I hope you read the textbook carefully regarding the Revolutionary War. Expect something to pop up tomorrow.

I really hope you don't have this reaction about going back to school tomorrow. Ciao.

President Putin has his fingers crossed for a Human Rights Award on _________.

President Putin also hopes you're happy to have the school year extended ONE EXTRA DAY in JUNE. HA HA HA HA HA!!!! Nyet to your summer vacation, comrades!!!!

One more thing Americans, if you're looking for some relaxing sounds to study by, look no further. By the way, Darth is a personal friend of mine.

IB STUDENTS

Essay questions update:

Regarding essay question #1, first period, you are pretty much good to go. Regarding essay question #3, Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois will be discussed on Tuesday.

For essay question #2, I'm expecting more than just a discussion of labor unrest. For example, if a student just offers brief summaries of the Pullman Strike, the Homestead Strike, and the Haymarket Square Riot that student will earn a low D and/or high F for their essay grade. I'm expecting a thorough examination of that question. You all have ample information in your notes to fully answer that question.

Check ALL handouts and notes from the first part of the unit. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me.
